There are situations in which you need to back up your important and sensitive files and folders. For example, you are working on a very important project and the files that you use for the project need to be in a safe location at all times, so in case something happens with the originals, you will be able to restore your important data back.

A program which allows you to easily synchronize and back up all your important files and folders is SyncFolders. As the name clearly states, this Windows program was designed to help you sync all your important files and folders to any location. After installing the software, you will first need to define one or several rules which will be used for backing up or syncing files.

For this, you will need to point to the source and destination folders, but also select the action that should be performed by SyncFolders, which can be either copy, backup or synchronize.

Optionally, the user can configure various filters, which allow him to include or exclude certain files or file types from the backup process. After making all these settings, the backup process will begin and you will always have a copy of all your important files and folders in the chosen destination folder. The sync or backup process is done automatically, so when you create a new file or folder in the source folder, it will be automatically synchronized with the destination folder.

Thus, you won't need to check which files are backed up and which files aren't and, as such, you will save a lot of time.
